This unit was to carry the weight and huge size of a piece of very technical radar equipment.
It had dimensions of 1m high x 1m diameter a huge plinth and imposing in its own right without anything set upon it.
The equipment that was to be displayed upon the plinth could be up to 100kgs.
To aid in supporting this weight we added and internal support column so as it could take this and more, just in case.
